Consider These Three Ways That Alcohol Affects Your Body

How many times have you woke up the next morning after drinking alcohol with a hangover? Alcohol affects the body in so many different ways, but you don’t have to be an alcoholic or a binge drinker to catch the negative effects. People will argue that drinking in moderation can be beneficial to your health, but most people making that argument aren’t going to be sticking to the healthiest diet and the limited amount of drinks that one should be having weekly.

The more you drink, the more effects alcohol will have on your body of course. One of the major effects of alcohol is dehydration. The list of negative benefits goes on and on, including impaired memory function and coordination. There are the short-term effects of alcohol and the long-term effects of alcohol. One of the long-term effects of alcohol is that it can damage your liver.

Alcohol is also an addictive substance, which means your body can become dependent upon alcohol each day. Another thing that alcohol does is increase the risk you have of getting certain diseases (like erectile dysfunction, better check erectile dysfunction treatment). Breast cancer is one of them. Alcohol affects your body negatively in so many ways that it’s not even worth looking at the positive benefits.

Sephora Haul

Recently a lovely friend of mine, Amy, went on a trip to New York and very kindly said she would pick up some things for me at Sephora. I could hardly contain my excitement and spent far too many hours devising my wish list and refining it. I changed my mind on what products I would most like to get so many times. Sephora makes choosing so difficult for someone so indecisive as myself. In then end I decided upon products which were hard to get a hold of in Australia and/or significantly cheaper at US recommended retail price. My final wish list was as follows:

Urban Decay Naked 3 palette; Tarte Amazonian clay 12-hour blushes in Tipsy and Exposed; Formula X for Sephora The System; and the Lorac Pro palette.
Unfortunately the Lorac Pro palette was nigh on impossible to find. Sephora and Ulta were sold out/no longer stocking it in stores and apparently now only available online. Sigh. But I cannot be disappointed because I was presented with a black and white Sephora bag and inside, oh boy, were my lusted treasures.
Urban Decay Naked 3 palette – I’ve swatched it and used it once so far. I like it a lot and it’s a unique addition to my collection. It complements my grey-blue eyes and light-medium skin tone nicely.
Tarte Amazonian clay 12-hour blushes – I’m so pleased with the colours I chose. I’ve been looking for a colour like Tipsy for so long and I think would look great with a tan and fresh-faced summer makeup. Exposed is a neutral shade which will look good with a variety of makeup looks.
Formula X for Sephora The System + Hyperactive effects top coat – this kit comes with a nail cleanser, base coat and top coat. You then get to choose any colour or topcoat to slot into the packaging. I used the system last night and whilst I can’t yet comment on the longevity, my manicure is very shiny and I’m pleased with the initial result. The topcoat I chose gives an opalescent effect and is very pretty.
Thank you so much Amy for picking these items up for me!
